I'm back! I'm sorry it took me so long to write. For some reason this is the first month that I've not wanted to actively call/write to people and tell them what's going on. If someone called me or came up to me at church, I was fine with that, but there was something about putting it in writing that I just couldn't handle. I'm sure that sounds weird, but I think it's just a stage that you go through periodically when you go through something like this. I have a friend whose husband has a tumor and she said that she felt the same way from time to time. All that to say, we're on our second round of medication and we're also getting ready to fill out adoption paperwork. We decided a while back that we wanted to adopt we just didn't think it would be our first child, but when we started talking about it we figured that we were limiting God, in a way, by not filling out the papers. We can't adopt a baby without doing that, so we figured why not go ahead! So that's all on the baby train for right now.I'm having a lazy night at home, since Ian is out of town. He had to spend the night in Beaufort with the Senator so I will be curled up on my couch with all my work. : ) He should have a 1/2 day off of work tomorrow so that will be nice. He was such a sweetheart last weekend. He took me to the melting pot for my birthday and had roses put on the table ahead of time. He then put candles all over our room and rubbed my feet when we got home. It was very sweet! He hasn't done anything really romantic in a while, so it was nice.Well, I should probably get back to my work. I'll talk to you ladies later!

Ok Mrs. Laurin, you are really freaking me out because you have written on here in quite awhile not even a hi im busy. just let me know you are alive. i am praying for you. I hope you had a good birthday!! i am such a slacker for not calling but i was broken down in the middle of nowhere!! my weekend was crazy! it was great seeing you guys carol anne but my car dying wasnt cool. but i am glad it was fixable and its driving even better these days! i went swimming last night at the hagins, so much fun, i was all by myself and i got to really work out!!! alright well i will talk to you all soon!

ok so i just wanted to get on here and ask yall to pray for a safe trip for Kyle and all the Marines that are leaving for France this Friday night and that they will all be careful and no one will get to drunk and in trouble.....plus keep me and kilee in your prayers as we will be here all alone ecspecially since May leaves for good on Saturday! Kyle wont come back home until wednesday so that is like 5 days with out him and then we have a week before Kilee and I leave to come to SC so please just keep our family in your prayers and i love yall

ok so Janci i just thought i would correct you on your last blog...when you are talking to Laurin is it MRS. not miss!!! lol anyways ummmm....Laurin I havent heard yet are you coming to Frannie's Graduation? if so or if not a friend of ours that just recently moved to Texas gave me some clothes thinking that i would be able to fit in them for some weird reason~ they are size 2~ but they are really nice dress clothes (banana republic/j. crew) so i thought that maybe you would want them and if not then i am sure we can find someone to give them to!

Janci how was the trip to Atlanta?? from the pictures that i got from Jim it looked like they recieved ALOT of gifts for Hayden!

Yes they did admit him for dehydration ,blood in urine however, his WBC are ok- they are going to refer him to a specialist in Columbia or Charleston. He is suppose to have a xray today to see if his has any stones.

update~aunt barbara emailed me, Landon is most likely going back to the hospital, Nana and aunt angie were wating on the doctor to call them and tell them what to do. he woke up in pain and throwing up again. pray for him!

well kilee went to the doctor today and she weighs 16.8 and that is in the 55% for her age,
then she is 27.5 in long! 95% for her age!!!!! she is going to be tall like Kyle! and i dont remember the measurement of her head but i do remember the doctor saying that she was in the 75% for her age...so my daughter has a big head like her daddy!! lol i am just kidding!

anyways i cant wait until i get to come to SC for a visit and i really wish Kyle was coming with me but he cant so maybe next time!! ok well i love yall

Howdy Howdy! I am so tired after this weekend and getting no sleep last night. For real, the only time I slept was from 5:40 to 6:40am. The rest of the time i was completely restless! So now I have been grumpy all day and I am so trying to stay awake!!! Me and Mama had a great time this weekend, we went shopping and I got her some new shirts, and then we went to the movies. We saw Georgia Rule. and it was a very moving story but really bad. Mama and I had only seen the previews we hadnt read about it or anything and I didnt realize it was R until we were watching it. Its basically about this girl who is 18 ad out of control so her mom takes her to live with her grandma for the summer. Well the reason she is so psycho is cuz her step-dad has been molesting her since she was 12! anyways it was a crazy movie!!!!
We ate lunch with Papa yesterday since Nana was with Aunt Barbara on the way back from Alabama. Needless to say he did his "poor mes" quite well! Daddy stayed with him saturday night so he didnt get any sleep, so he dropped papa off at church and then came back home and me and mama waited to long to get ready so none of us went to church. So Papa of course was whinning when Charlie and I picked him up about how he had to sit all by himself and the "bryant" row was empty.
I don't feel that bad because, Laurin I am sure you understand this, when you are at church all the time, there are some days you need a break. ANd this weekend was my chance to be with family and chill. I took it and feel good!!
Tonight is the only night I have to work at Eckerd's for the next 2 weeks! I am so excited!!

I hope yall had a great weekend! I did had a couple strawberry Daquris and they were really quite yummy!! I had a Great Mother's Day even though we were really lazy! What have yall been up to? A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word.



In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, "Tell me, what do you see?"

"Carrots, eggs, and coffee," she replied.

Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, "What does it mean, mother?"

Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity…boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water. "Which are you?" she asked her daughter. "When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?"

Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?
Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?
Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you. When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

i just thought i would drop in and say hello and that kilee is sitting up by herself for the most part now! and also laurin the car is taking place of my old car we are selling that one to one of the marines!

anyways we are about to go out to eat with courtney and morrow to celebrate him being out of the marine corp...even though he is only on terminal right now and isnt offically out until June 10th!

Hey ladies! Sorry it took me so long to write. There's not too much new with me. We took our first round of medication this month and will find out the results in about a week and 1/2. As usual, the waiting game continues! Recently, I've kind of had some up and down days emotionally, but the past few have been better. Several of my friends that have been trying for a while, just got pregnant, so there's no one that's in my shoes any more. It just started hitting me a few days ago, but like I said, I've been feeling better about it lately.
Carol Anne, what care is the convertible taking the place of? It looks fun, especially for summer! It looked like y'all had a great time at the beach. I can't wait until we go! I've got a stack of books to take with me, since I haven't gotten to read in ages. I did hear about Landon. Now that Aunt Barbara has e-mail, I find out about things a little sooner than I use to! : )
Janci, just give me a call some time and I can help you with some ideas for a goodie bag. There are some great little goodies out there. : ) I didn't know you were getting a roommate. Where is she going to stay? Well, I've got to go cook dinner, so I'll talk with you ladies later!

ok so i know i havent written on here in a lil while.....but it is kinda been hard getting out of vacation mode for me! Kilee is doing good she is getting bigger every day and she is still trying really hard to crawl you can tell she wants it so bad but i know soon enough it will happen!

She is talking more now and she says DADA all the time!! Which is fine with me because it makes Kyle feel good! I cant believe she is about to be 6 months old!!! It seems like i was just in the hospital giving birth to her!

Well tomorrow begins the wonderful Parade Season!!! this year Devon and I have decided that we are going to retire from going to every single parade and just have girl time on Friday nights!!! We are going to the one tomorrow night though and i am looking forward to that!!

anyways i guess that is all for now and i know that Janci just found out yesterday about Landon but i dont know if Laurin knows... he is supposed to be going home today sometime and from what I have heard he is doing better ! anyways i love yall hope all is well!

kristen is moving in this week!!! so excited! i am going to darlington for mother's day! i am leaving on the 10th so i can catch one of bryant and landons baseball games!!
